Clips is just getting started

Three local creators, 41 short videos, and 34 hours of Salt Lake watching — here is what the numbers actually say.

We added Clips to HubHive Shop for a simple reason: a jar of creamed honey or a bag of turkey jerky is a lot easier to want when you can see somebody hold it. A few months in, we pulled the real numbers instead of guessing at them. Here they are, exactly as our records have them.

The numbers, as of September 6, 2026

  • 41 published clips on the site right now.
  • 9,399 views counted by our player.
  • 34.2 hours watched — 123,242 seconds of recorded playback.
  • 5,052 clips watched all the way to the end.
  • Three creator accounts making the videos, with more on the way.

How we count, and what we cannot count. A view is what our player records when someone opens a clip in the full-screen viewer; we do not store a separate minimum-seconds play event, so we are reporting the view counter itself rather than inventing a stricter definition. Watch time is playback we recorded second by second while a clip was on screen. Silent previews on the grid and home page are not counted. Every number here covers only clips that are public right now.

What people watched

Three clips stood out, each for a different reason. We are not going to call anything the funniest or the best — we can only tell you what people actually did.

Most viewed. More opens than anything else on the site.

Most watched to the end. People did not just start this one, they stayed for the whole thing 372 times.

Most shared. The one people sent to somebody else the most.

What we are not claiming

A few things we would like to report, we cannot report honestly yet. We do not have reliable per-person numbers, so we will not tell you how many different people watched. We are not going to translate views into sales in this post, because attribution across a clip, a product page and a cart deserves its own careful write-up.

Want to be in the next one?

If you make something in the Salt Lake area, or you just like filming the stuff you already buy, there is room for you here. Creators can apply to join the creator program. Local businesses can open a store and start posting clips of their own products.

Thirty-four hours is a good start. It is not the story — it is the first page of it.
